A friend turned me on to this inspiring and uplifting story on a young man at Porterville High School, Jens Nielsen. For those who have been around Bakersfield for a while, he is the son of Curt Nielsen, who apparently was the first men's tennis coach at Cal State Bakersfield before leaving in 1986 to purchase the Porterville Racquet Club.
