Museum show on homelessness, loss opens this week

Make sure you check out the new show over at the Bakersfield Museum of Art focusing on homelessness and loss. This promises to be a terrific show and includes - among other things - some startling photographs by Felix Adamo. The show opens this Thursday, Dec. 10, and runs through next February.

Bakersfield is very fortunate to have an accredited museum/gallery(the only one in our area) that is able to attract exhibits like these.

The Californian has some of the best photographers in the newspaper business. Hats off to Felix for his outstanding work.

More about the opening please. I couldn't find much on the BMOA site.

There has been many art shows in Bakersfield the past twelve months( that alone is worth celebrating) but this has to be the art event of the year!

Went to the opening this rainy night. It was more interesting watching people comment on the exhibit.
